Is it free?
Yes, the beta is free. Paid memberships are planned for later (Coming later).
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet, Android only for now. On an iPhone you can still use the feed and the map on the website.
Can I post from the website?
No. Spots come from the Android app’s camera, because the camera and live GPS are what make a spot verified (Spotting).
Why isn’t my spot on the map?
Spots join the map 24 hours after they’re posted. It’s in the feed already (the 24 hour delay).
Why is my spot Unverified?
It came from the gallery, you placed a pin, the GPS was rougher than 100 m, or you posted more than 30 minutes after taking it. Unverified spots keep their tier and score half (what counts as verified).
Why are my points pending?
Epic and Legendary points count once two other spotters confirm the model (pending points).
Why did my spot get 0 points?
You already spotted the same car within 500 m and 2 hours, so it counted once (Keeping it fair).
Can someone use this to find my car?
Nobody sees an exact place or time. Spots show an area and a day, and they reach the map a day later as part of a ~1 km cell. Owners being able to hide their car’s spots is planned (owner verification).
My car or my face is in someone’s spot. Can it come down?
Report it with the Privacy reason and a moderator looks at it. Without an account, use the contact form with the Privacy topic.
Do you sell my data?
No. There are no ads either (Privacy and safety).
How do I delete my account?
In the app under Settings, or on the web at redlineapp.in/delete-account. It’s immediate.
What’s the Demo badge?
Demo accounts are made-up spotters we use to show how Redline works, with licensed photos.
Which cities?
Delhi NCR only for now: Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and around.
What about bikes?
Cars first. Bikes are on the roadmap.
